SHAMANIC DRUMMING CIRCLE
Shamanic drumming, as distinguished from other types of drumming, usually refers to the use of sustained, repetitive drumming rhythms. Shamanic drumming employs a repetitive rhythm that starts slowly and then gradually builds in intensity, maintaining a tempo of three to seven beats per second. The ascending tempo will induce light to deep trance states, facilitating shamanic techniques such as journeying, shapeshifting, and divination.
